Data controller

Servicio Autorex S.A. de C.V. (“REX”), located at Blvd. Agua Caliente #8880, Zona Este, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

Data we collect

When you message us on WhatsApp, call or visit us, we may receive your name, phone number, vehicle details (make, model, year, plates) and a description of the problem.

When you browse this site, our own measurement (no cookies) records: the page visited and its title, the referring site (domain only, not the full address), campaign parameters in the link (utm) and whether you came from an ad (only the type, not the identifier), screen size and device type, operating system and browser (classified), browser language and time zone, approximate location (country, state and city), engagement time and how far you scrolled, and actions on the site: tapping the WhatsApp, call or map buttons, viewing prices, switching language and what you type in the symptom finder.

To count unique visitors per day we compute an anonymous fingerprint from your IP and browser with a key that changes every day; we do not store your IP address or your browser’s full user agent. In your browser we only keep a local flag (localStorage, not a cookie) to know whether you have visited before. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, we do not measure your visit.

Approximate location is derived on the fly with the “IP to City Lite” database by DB-IP (IP Geolocation by DB-IP, CC BY 4.0 license), without keeping the IP.

Only if you consent in the cookie notice do we load Google Analytics 4, which sets Google cookies (_ga) to measure visits; ad personalization stays off. Your choice is remembered for 12 months in your browser and you can change it at any time under “Cookie preferences” in the footer; if you decline after accepting, we delete those cookies.

The internal metrics dashboard uses a technical session cookie (rex_panel) only for authorized staff who sign in to it; site visitors never get it.

When you enter the site we show a short tachometer animation. So it does not repeat on every page, we use our own functional cookie (rex-loader) that only remembers for 5 minutes that you already saw the animation and then deletes itself; it holds no personal data and is not used to track you.

How we use it

Necessary purposes: answering your messages and calls, quoting and performing the service, handling warranties and issuing invoices when you request them.

Secondary purposes: understanding which services and symptoms our customers look for, to improve the site and our service. If you do not want your data used for these purposes, let us know through the contact details in this notice.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it when the law requires it or with providers that help us operate (for example, this site’s hosting and, with your consent, Google Analytics), who must protect it.

Your ARCO rights

You can Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object to the use of your data, and revoke your consent. Send your request on WhatsApp to 664 484 4170, call us at 664 684 1487 and 664 684 7008 or email rextijuana@hotmail.com, stating your name, the right you want to exercise and how we can reply. We will answer within the legal deadlines.
